Rosenheim joins the elite of German universities
Rosenheim, 19 June 2012. Awards given within the framework of the “excellence initiative” – founded by the German federal and state governments for the promotion of top-level research – are highly coveted.
The Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences is among the winners this year, as universities of applied sciences were allowed to participate in the excellence initiative for the first time. Under the auspices of the Munich School of Engineering (MSE), an award-winning future concept of the Munich Technical University, the TUM will be cooperating with, among others, the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. The MSE will become the centre for “green technologies”, from which scientists from nearly all faculties will research energy supplies and mobility. Thanks to this co-operation, Rosenheim University graduates will have the possibility to continue their scientific careers to the doctoral level.
