Some essential FAQs about the Examination Regulation "Traps":
Can I repeat FAILED examinations?
After failing an examination, you will be granted a second attempt after the
following semester.
Third attempts will be only granted four times during your studies.
For the Master Thesis, only one more (i.e. no third) attempt is possible.
What is the maximum duration of the Master's Program?
The regular duration of the program is three semesters.
At the end of your fifth semester, you must have done the first attempts
of all examinations, including your thesis.
Extension of these five semesters is only possible in very exceptional cases
that are not the fault of the student, with expressive proofs in form of medical
certificates or similar.
The total duration of the Master's Program cannot exceed 7 semesters.
