Degree
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)
- Master of Engineering (M. Eng.)
Duration of studies
- 7 Semesters, including one Semester of professional placement for the Bachelor of Engineering Degree course
- For the Master of Engineering Degree course there are separate Regulations and Requirements – (which can be obtained via the academic registrar).
Course aims
We aim to train engineers for all aspects of the wood working industry and its suppliers, including the machine industry. Their expertise is for example in the production of timber, veneer, laminated timber products, wood boards, plywood, furniture, windows, staircases, flooring, ceilings and wall panelling.
Wood engineers are leaders in their field because of their wide ranging scientific and technical skills as well as their administrative and social competence.
Admission requirements
- Standard university entrance qualifications such as A-levels or International Baccalaureate (or its equivalents).
- Applicants with relevant professional qualifications may be admitted.
